Priced from $40,490, the T-Roc 140TSI Sport is joined in the online-only pre-order offer by the T-Roc X Special Edition, which is priced at $42,990 (excl. ORCs).
Both T-Roc variants can be secured with a $500 deposit until mid-April or stock is exhausted.
The T-Roc 140TSI Sport is the premium variant of Volkswagen's smaller SUV range, powered by 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 140kW and 320Nm via a 7-speed DSG and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive.
Standard features on the 140TSI Sport include LED auto headlights, sports suspension, 18-inch Sebring alloys, 4MOTION Active Control, progressive steering, R-line exterior styling, chrome roof rails, keyless entry, LED interior ambient lighting, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, dual zone climate control air and a Discover Media 8-inch navigation display with App-Connect.
Safety equipment includes Front Assist with City Emergency Brake and Pedestrian Monitoring, adaptive cruise control, Lane Assist with adaptive lane guidance, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Traffic Assist, Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist, proactive occupant protection, Park Assist and a rear-view camera.
On the T-Roc X, additional equipment includes 19-inch Suzuka alloys, adaptive chassis control, a 300W Beats sound system, power tailgate and sports cloth seat trim. A panoramic glass sunroof is a $1,900 option.
The T-Roc X’s features can be added to the 140TSI Sport as a $2,000 Sound and Style Package, while a separate Luxury Package adds a power tailgate, panoramic glass sunroof and Vienna leather upholstery for an additional $3,500.
Both T-Roc variants and the new T-Cross compact SUV will be on display at the Volksfest event in Brisbane on 16 February.
