Toyota release limited edition Altitude RAV4

On the RAV4, the Altitude Special Edition adds nine features, collectively worth $3,500, over and above the standard CV grade model. These include satellite navigation and 17-inch alloy wheels (in lieu of steel wheels) and two reverse parking sonar sensors.

Exterior features include silver roof rails, front fog lamps, rear-quarter, rear-door and rear privacy glass, and an 'Altitude' exterior badge. Five exterior colour choices are offered on the Special Edition: Pearlescent White Crystal Pearl; Silver Pearl; Graphite; Ebony; and Wildfire.

Inside, the RAV4 Altitude has a premium steering wheel and gear-shift knob, plus a 6.1-inch LCD touch-screen audio unit, with satellite navigation with 3-D display and SUNA** traffic warnings, as well as voice recognition for audio controls, Bluetooth™^ phone control and navigation control.

Key features of this advanced 40W x 4 maximum power audio head unit also include a single CD player, SD Card Slot, rear camera input capability, USB connectivity+, iPod®# control, and Bluetooth telephone and audio-streaming functionality+.

All RAV4 models have electric power-assisted steering, vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-skid brakes and Hill-start Assist Control as standard equipment.

The Altitude Special Edition is available with 2WD manual and auto models, or AWD autos. Automatic transmission models have the additional feature of Downhill Assist Control.
The recommended retail price for the 2WD manual Altitude is $29,990*, a $1,000 premium over the 2WD manual CV grade on which it is based.
