Perth Caravan & Camping Show 2008
"Over the last three years the number of exhibitors has increased considerably, not only in numbers but in the range of products and models they bring to the Show, so we have been requiring more and more space."
"Public transport, parking, convenience for visitors and suitable layout and infrastructure for exhibitors have been very challenging for us, so we are very excited that they have now come together."
Claremont Showgrounds will bring a whole new look to the Show. There are indoor pavilions, large grassed areas, hardstand areas, a dedicated theatre for seminars, and numerous catering outlets.
There is also ample free parking with easy access by train to the Claremont Showground station, plus a number of entry gates.
"We see this as being the 'home' of the Perth Caravan and Camping Show, which I think everyone will be pleased about," Raven said. Last year over 40,000 visitors attended the 5-day Super Show.
Royal Agricultural Society CEO, Martin Molony, said that the caravan industry's Caravan & Camping Show was a welcome addition to the country and outdoor lifestyle events for which the Claremont Showground was noted.
