Nissan Patrol Turbo-Diesel 1998 model Review
It is in first class condition, has been well looked after, and is clean and tidy. If you are a tradie looking for a working vehicle, this one is ready to go - all you really need to do is slap your company logo on the door and you'd be in business! It is powered by a reliable (and powerful) 4.2-litre six cylinder turbo-diesel engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It produces 114kW of power at 3600rpm and a healthy 330Nm of torque at 2000rpm.
The Patrol offers part time 4WD and low range for when real grunt is required! This DX model has a functional cabin that is surprisingly roomy. There is good head room and the rear wall of the cabin was actually moved back to further increase the size of the cabin by Nissan when this model was introduced. There is seating for three, with hard wearing cloth trim and large door pockets. Air conditioning and radio are fitted. Further enhancing the exterior is an aluminium bullbar with driving lights and, at the rear, there is comprehensive tow bar and two spare wheels are provided.
A limited slip differential and synchromesh five speed transmission with a double cone on 2nd and 3rd gear gears make driving easy. It has a braked towing rate of 2500kgs and even better still, this vehicle includes registration and 12 months warranty. Asking price is $14,990.
