Ford will showcase a new one tonne Ford Transit at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The Ford Tourneo concept will offer eight seats and luxurious interior to provide a new look for people movers and commercial vehicles.

Multi-adjustable and removable rear seating can be adapted for business or leisure pursuits, and feature a driver focused cockpit and fully trimmed cabin.

The debut of the Tourneo Custom Concept heralds the arrival of a new generation of Ford commercial vehicles that will be revealed throughout 2012. This new range will be powered by enhanced versions of the 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, with Auto-Stop-Start technology fitted as standard, All versions will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission and feature front-wheel drive. The model range will include a wide choice of body styles and two wheelbases (SWB and LWB) allowing for extra luggage or goods capability where required.
