Melbourne Boat Show exceeds expectations

With numbers well in excess of previous years, it is not surprising that sales were also up by 34 percent compared to 2007.
The show has undergone a transformation and the increased number of patrons were no doubt attracted by an array of spectacular new displays and exclusive exhibits - some which were never before seen in Melbourne.
Aside from the dazzling $100 million plus worth of boats on display, families enjoyed the likes of Flathead Fred and the Roaming Reptiles. Elsewhere, show goers were impressed by the skills of some of Australia's top wakeboarding talent in the on land wakeboarding champiionship.
