Toyota has launched a special edition LandCruiser 200 Series, with extra gear including 18-inch alloy wheels, leather accented interior, power operated driver and front-passenger seats, and satellite navigation - over and above the GXL on which it is based. It also has a steering wheel with audio controls, front fog lamps and cool box - a feature traditionally reserved for top-of-the-range Sahara. Prices start from $80,190 plus on-road costs.

LandCruiser 200 Altitude is offered with the choice of V8 petrol or twin-turbo V8 diesel engines with auto transmission. The 4.7-litre Quad Cam V8 model has the added feature of Kinetic Dynamic Suspension (KDSS), which gives the vehicle long wheel articulation for challenging off-road driving.

The LandCruiser Altitude is also equipped with five 18-inch alloy wheels from VX/Sahara with 285/60R18 tyres.
