TMI Pacific, an arm of Sydney's Tynan Motor Group, has launched the Indian Mahindra Pik-Up utility into the Australian market.

Indian marque returns to Oz with Mahindra Pik-Up

The Mahindra Pik-Up is available in either two or four-wheel drive, in single and dual cab versions.

All four Mahindra Pik-Up models are powdered by a 2.5-litre inter-cooled common rail turbo-charged diesel engine, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It produces 79 kW at 3800 rpm and 247Nm of torque at
1800 rpm.

Initially the Mahindra Pik-Up will only be sold in NSW, with a national roll out planned for late 2007.
