FORD VERTREK TO REPLACE ESCAPE

Based on Ford's global C-segment platform, which will see at least 10 new models built, including the new Focus, there is every chance that Australian buyers may see the Vertrek badged as the next generation Escape SUV.

The Vertrek features a stylish design. 1.6-litre 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine equipped with Ford auto start-stop technology. An advanced fuel efficient TDCi 2-litre turbo diesel is also available, and is likely to be mated to a 6-speed transmission.
