Here’s a recent arrival at Western City Autos:

2022 Suzuki Jimny GLX

Since the fourth-generation Jimny’s arrival in Australia in 2019, the diminutive 4x4 has been a hot seller, with high-demand leading to a pause on deliveries of the automatic transmission variant earlier this year. It’s better news for manual transmission buyers, with plenty of new and used options out there – and this is one of the better examples.

A 2022 GLX manual, this Jimny is finished in Medium Grey metallic with a grey cloth interior. With only 7,944km on the odometer, this Jimny is powered by the standard 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 75kW and 130Nm, matched to a five-speed manual transmission and Suzuki’s AllGrip part-time four-wheel drive system with low-range.

The Jimny GLX’s approach, departure and breakover angles are 37, 49 and 28 degrees, respectively, with 210mm ground clearance. Wheels are 15x5.5-inch, and importantly for a 4x4, the spare is a full-size 15x5.5 wheel.
