Australian-spec C4 Cactus models (dubbed 'Cactus Exclusive' for the local market) will be offered with a choice of two drivetrains: PSA's highly-awarded PureTech 81kW/205Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol three-cylinder engine paired to a five speed manual transmission: or a 68kW/230Nm 1.6-litre turbo-diesel paired to a 6 speed semi-automatic transmission. Both powerplants feature stop-start technology.
Due to hit Australian dealerships from February, 2016, the two-model Cactus Exclusive range will start at $26,990 (MLP) for the petrol manual, while the semi-auto diesel variant will carry an MLP of $29,990.
Customers who pre-order their Cactus before the end of 2015 will have access to the full range of extra-cost personalisation options, which includes: coloured Airbumps, coloured roof rails and door mirrors, wheel rims, colour body highlights, interior options and a range of vibrant exterior colours.
Taking into account all possible combinations and permutations, Citroen Australia say the Cactus can be had in a total 23,184 different combinations.
