2019 Easter Jeep Safari, USA - Jeep JT SCRAMBLER

Dipping into their history, specifically the CJ8 Scrambler, Jeep reimagined this ’80s-era open-top machine in Gladiator form to create the JT Scrambler.
Also based on the Gladiator Rubicon, the JT Scrambler added side stripes and bonnet decoration in a combination of Punk’N Metallic Orange and Nacho to mimic the CJ8 Scrambler graphics.
Jeep Performance Parts on this concept started with the 17-inch slot wheels, which were customised in a concept bronze finish – that looked like orange - to tie in with the exterior colour theme.
Keeping the retro look going was a removable Freedom Top resprayed in Vintage Amber and a prototype 2-inch sport/roll bar finished in white. Designed to offer extra tie-down points for the load area, the sports bar was also fitted with a pair of diffused LED task lights to illuminate the tray.
A quartet of forward-facing 5-inch LEDs also graced the sports bar, with further lighting consisting of a pair of 7-inch 8,000 lumen Jeep Performance Parts LED lights on the front brush bar and two 5-inch LEDs on the A-pillar.
A 2-inch Jeep Performance Parts lift kit allowed for 37-inch BFG tyres, with tough Jeep Performance Parts non-slip rock rails also fitted.
Like the Gravity, the JT Scrambler was running the 3.6-litre V6, augmented with a Mopar cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust.
Inside, the JT Scrambler featured Katzkin seats, but in an Amaretto Brown leather to give a vintage look, with this treatment extending to the dash and armrests, highlighted by orange thread to pick up on the exterior striping.
All-weather floor mats, a Mopar bright metal pedal kit and auxiliary switchbank for the extra lights also featured inside this retro-themed concept.
