2013 Brisbane 4x4 Show - this weekend!!
Combining two of Queensland's most popular off-road, touring, towing, fishing and boating events in one weekend, and one location, Brisbane's RNA Showgrounds is set to be your one-stop shop for everything outdoors this March 15-17.
"In its eighth year, the co-location of two of Queensland's most popular shows, the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show will be a fantastic event and must for any outdoor enthusiast," said Jason Plant, Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show Event Manager.
For one lucky visitor to the 2013 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, the outdoor adventure will continue with an Ultimate Adventure Package up for grabs, valued at $15,000.
At the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, some of the best known names in the industry will exhibit - 4WD vehicles and accessories, ATVs and dirt bikes, automotive accessories, safety and recovery gear, GPS and electronics, kayaks, camping equipment, tents and a vast array of camper trailers and off-road caravans.
The TJM AUSTRUCK Extreme 4x4 invitation-only competition, presented by 4WDTV and DirtComp Magazine, will again be a feature attraction in the Action Arena and is sure to capture the attention of the crowd.
Can-Am will also be using the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show for the Australian debut of their newest side-by-side sports ATV - the Maverick 1000R. The all-new, high-performance Maverick 1000R will be on display and in action, with Can-Am conducting rides for enthusiasts around the Action Arena.
Also confirmed is the WAECO Outback Stage and a series of meet and greet sessions with some of the 4WD and Outdoor Industries' biggest names including Pat Callinan, Roothy and Peter 'Spida' Everitt.
The Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show, presented by Club Marine, will include chef Bart Beek conducting cooking demonstrations, while Paul Worsteling, renowned angler and host of televisions iFish program, is once again the official ambassador of the Show.
The hugely popular Fishing Expo Stage, Yamaha Supertank and Kids Marine Zone will also return.
The combined shows open from 9:00AM each day, closing at 6:00PM on Friday (March 15) and Saturday (March 16), and 5:00PM on Sunday (March 17).
Tickets are $15.00 for adults (or $24.00 for a two day pass), $10.00 seniors and concession, with kids under 15 admitted free. Tickets are available at the gate, or can be pre-purchased from the event website. Pre-purchasing tickets also puts you in the running to win a $1,200 fishing prize pack. Visitors to the shows can also enjoy a free travel option provided for ticketholders only, with a free train loop service running between Brisbane's Central, Roma Street, Fortitude Valley and Exhibition Grounds Stations across all three days.
