This D5 is the clean diesel variant of the D:5, with Mitsubishiâs brand new 2.2 L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine (4N14) producing 148 PS of power and 360 Nm of torque. Mitsubishi claims that this new 4N14 diesel engine is reliable at low revs and has smooth acceleration until high revs with fuel consumption of just 7.35L/100km (13.6 km/L) in mixed use driving, which is rather impressive for its size and performance. The Delica D:5 is available with either 7 or 8 seats in a versatile arrangement including fully folding seats, captainâs chairs (with folding arm rest) and large slide rail distances front to rear. Interior space is excellent with ample head and leg room and a large number of convenient and well designed storage compartments tucked away throughout the vehicle.
