That meant it retained the One-Tonner’s semi-monocoque/semi-chassis construction with a conventional front half grafted to the ladder-chassis at the rear.
That layout also saw the Crewman retain the live rear axle of the One-Tonner as well as the leaf rear springs which give the car plenty of load and towing capacity.
The Crewman has a limited-slip differential for traction.
The 2006 Crewman benefits from a more modern 3.6 V6 engine with more refinement and better fuel economy.
