Exploring the Farm - Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Part 3 of 5

The Rubicon’s suspension was quite forgiving on uneven terrain at reasonably high speeds.

Moving across the paddocks at between 50–80 km/h proved to be quite comfortable and I have driven dirt road corrugations in vehicles that would have rattled their bumpers off, but not the Jeep, its larger tyres and forgiving suspension taking the edge off. 

The car’s interior did become very dusty, I do think that some of it was due to an interior protectorant that may have been used to clean it, but later when we wiped it with a dry cloth, then a cloth dampened with water, it cleaned up easily. Hey, something that I really should mention: without doors, there are no side-mirrors and for me who often backs trailers, drives trucks and generally likes a good side-mirror it was a strange feeling.

But then again sticking my head out of the window worked pretty well. And one more thing about these doors - the pockets! They are made of elastic mesh and stuff can slip through and get stuck when closing the door.
