Just arrived - This 1945 Willys Jeep MB is the perfect classic. Simple and reliable by design, there's not much that can stop a Willys Jeep. These were the world's first mass-produced four-wheel drive vehicles, and now, at 80 years old, they have truly earned their place among the iconic classics of the world. This particular car is powered by the Willys 134ci (2.2L) 'L134' 4-cylinder motor. The 3-speed manual transmission has a 2-range transfer case, which, paired with a very low payload, allowed them to be the great off-roaders we know them as. This Jeep was 1 of 16,000 that were allocated to the Australian Army in WWII, and was part of the 3rd Australian Infantry Division (notable by the koala and boomerang markings), which served along the Kokoda Trail in New Guinea. It has been under long-term ownership for the last 15 years and was restored in 2012. Amazingly, the Jeep has retained its original chassis, running gear, and body. The Jeep is presented in the classic military green with a matching jerry can, and the windscreen folds down for the complete military look. In true Jeep fashion, there are no doors, and you'll have to forgo seatbelts, but its worth it to enjoy such a charming vehicle. There is a small bench seat in the back, which allows for four total, and two lockable toolboxes for storage. There is also the opportunity to purchase a matching trailer available with the sale of the Jeep if desired. You don't get much more character than this Jeep, which is a delight wherever it goes, and it will go anywhere, do anything.
