Outdoors Expo & Fishing Show

The Fishing Show demonstrated the popularity of angling with the very latest in tackle, lures, accessories, boats, engines, marine electronics, fishing and holiday destinations, camping and outdoor gear.

Visitors were able to research the best spots around Australia and discover great ideas for their next fishing trip. Several major fishing associations/clubs were in attendance and there was a strong representation of fishing.

One of the real growth areas that was strongly represented is the sport of kayaking, with a host of displays of the very latest in kayaks, and even a novel fold up boat.

Marine Safety Victoria also had a large presence with plenty of good advice about maritime safety. Again there were regular Fishing Stage Seminars on the stage which delivered plenty of good advice and tips for successful angling.
