Brilliant vehicle for long trips, bush or coast. I've had it for nearly 3 years and most of that time was on the road, free camping, prospecting, exploring. 412000 KMS; plenty of life left in engine I haven't taken it through water or on the beach while I've had it, although it's more than capable. You can get into areas others can't, fully equipped to just park up and relax with everything you need to hand. Awesome fun! 10 minutes to pack up and on your way again. Super capable vehicle. Plenty of power, no drag on hills.
Well looked after. Plenty of solar power, including portable Drive Tech solar panels (5), can be plugged in and set up in the sun while car parked in shade. Solar panels on roof too. Two house batteries. 2amp & 5amp charging plugs in rear & on dash. Reliable Engel chest fridge, runs off the solar. 280° batwing awning with support poles. Quick to set up and put away. Privacy tent mounted to side. Possible to set up a camping shower in it. Good storage throughout. Basic kitchen setup, but more than adequate. I did not want gas in the vehicle, so opted to cook outside on a butane cooker (fits on drop down shelf), or of course on a campfire.
Awning provides shelter if it's raining. 3 drop down tables (2 at rear, 1 at side) I slept at the bottom and used the roof area for extra storage; but you or kids can sleep up top. Sliding windows and screened hatch give enough air. Bottom bed can be single (2m long), or panels pulled across to make it a double. Mattresses top & bottom are basic. I got Clark rubber to make up a foam topper to size for comfort for me. You may want to do same. Screened throughout with extra magnetic screen can be set up over back door in summer to sleep with doors open. Sirocco fan in back, uses tiny amount of power and performs well, runs very quiet, as well as fan in screened top hatch.

Bull bar & new spot lights. Air con & heater works well No oil leaks, and no interior leaks. Handbrake has always worked.. often a weakness with these vehicles.
Coplock clutch lock included. Cooper tyres. I'm not mechanically minded, so I've looked after it religiously, doing any work needed immediately, and servicing every 7000 KMS or sooner. Recent work includes: (All invoices available; plus from before I owned it) New heavy duty shock absorbers all round. New brake pads. New locking hubs & bearings. Fit extra house battery & Redarc core charger & monitor. Extra 250w Drive Tech solar (5 folding panels feeding via new Anderson plug), so loads of solar power. (As well as panel on roof) New heavy duty clutch. There's more.. but best to ask if I've missed anything you need to know.
